| To the mom who wrote about the war... MY son is in Iraq...I don't want my son or anyone else's son to go through what my son is going through. But this is what they've signed up to do. I always ask everyone to remember what they felt on 9/11 and that is why my son is over there...that they will not have the draft, that the war doesn't come over here. Don't get me wrong, I don't like war, I lived through Vietnam, but I don't want terrorism in this country. I want my children to go to school, to walk down the street withough fear. War has always asked for sacrifice - please listen to those who are sacrificing their lives. Signed Lisa Lewis, Texas |
| Dear siliconmom - Bulge of Honor I'm a dad, a grandfather, and an ex-husband of 44 years. I clicked on an icon with the title "Badge of Honor". What a pleasant surprise and super idea! I have long been an admirer of the target of your proposed badge. To me, it represents the most loving and honorable title that a woman can ever have: MOTHER! I have always referred to that gloriously obligatory mound as a "speed bump" - but never in a derogatory way. Maybe it's a man thing... Cheerio d'nu Signed Don _____, Texas |
