LETTERS         NEW!!
Dear siliconmom:
I am an MBA mom who took 10 years off the career track to travel the world with a spouse's career and raise 3 children. I took a big gulp when I left my job, 30, pregnant and jumped into a new life.
I have always been confident about my abilities and have taken courses to update my computing skills...etc
I am trying to reenter the career track but am having a very hard time being taken seriously. My resume is viewed as odd. It appears inconsistent to be passionate about your career and then passionate about raising your children. Any insights?

PEACE ON EARTH
Dear Alison & all siliconmoms
With all the uncertainty in the world at the moment, we could all do well to follow this old Chinese Proverb:

If there is right in the soul,
There will be beauty in the person
If there is beauty in the person
There will be harmony in the home
If there is harmony in the home
There will be order in the nation
If there is order in the nation
There will be PEACE IN THE WORLD

Peace, Love and Light to you all
Kate Thompson, Scotland
