Dear siliconmom:
I'm a reporter working on a story about "cyber-bullies"- the kids who torment other classmates by IM, e-mail, text messages etc. instead of the usual stuff in the playground. If your child is a victim of cyber bullies, I'd like to do a brief phone interview to discuss how you are dealing with it. Please send email to rkonrad@ap.org or call my office (408) 293-2324. I am sensitive to the fact that some children might not want their names or schools mentioned.
Thanks!

LETTERS
Dear siliconmom:
I was having a sad evening where I felt the weight of the world and there wasn't anyone to talk to. So my solution? I went to Google and searched for "static mom", hoping to find a website about the struggles of motherhood and something that might guide me.
I was intrigued by the interactive component of your site and I  found some of the stories appealing. Thank you for reaching back to me. It makes the world feel smaller and gentler.

Sincerely, Sue from  Vancouver

Dear siliconmom:
I am an MBA mom who took 10 years off the career track to travel the world with a spouse's career and raise 3 children. I took a big gulp when I left my job, 30, pregnant and jumped into a new life.
I have always been confident about my abilities and have taken courses to update my computing skills...etc
I am trying to reenter the career track but am having a very hard time being taken seriously.  Any insights?

Dear fellow siliconmoms:
I can relate to anon mom about trying to return to a career that was put on hold to raise kids. Now that my boys are teens( that in itself has been a challenge) it would be great to go back to works. It's been hard in so many ways.
Any advice or tips?
